1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Enola application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using Enola, you confirm that you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

3. Description of the service

Enola is a social connection app based on proximity. The App uses:

• Geolocation (GPS) to detect nearby users
• Bluetooth (BLE) for immediate proximity detection
• Artificial intelligence to analyze profiles and suggest connections
• Voice recognition to build your profile

4. User account

You must create an account via Apple Sign In to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.

5. Code of conduct

By using Enola, you agree to:

• Not publish offensive, hateful, harassing, or illegal content
• Not use the App for spam or commercial solicitation
• Not impersonate another person
• Not attempt to bypass the App's security measures
• Respect other users and their privacy

6. User content

You retain ownership of the content you publish on Enola (photos, messages, profile information). By publishing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the App.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that is reported by other users.

7. Moderation and reporting

Enola has an automated content moderation system and reporting tools. You can block or report any user whose behavior is inappropriate. We commit to reviewing reports as quickly as possible.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, code, and content are the property of The T (Enola brand). You are not authorized to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the App settings. Account deletion will permanently remove all of your data, including your profile, photos, messages, and connections.

10. Limitation of liability

Enola is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times or free of errors. We are not responsible for interactions between users outside of the App.

11. Changes

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

At Enola, protecting your privacy is at the core of our mission. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

1. Data collected

Account data

• Apple ID (via Apple Sign In)
• Email address (if provided by Apple)
• First name and last name

Profile data

• Age / date of birth
• Home city and current city
• Occupation and education
• Profile and gallery photos
• Interests, personality traits, lifestyle
• Voice recordings (to build your profile via AI)

Location data

• GPS position (only while the app is open and active)
• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) data for proximity detection

Usage data

• Messages exchanged with other users
• Invites sent and received
• Connections established
• Reports and blocks

3. Data sharing

We never sell your personal data. Your data may be shared only in the following cases:

• Other users: your public profile (first name, photos, interests) is visible to nearby users when you are active in the app.
• Service providers: Supabase (hosting and database), Apple (authentication), Anthropic Claude (AI profile analysis).
• Legal obligations: where required by law or to protect our rights.

• Secure authentication via Apple Sign In
• In-transit encryption (HTTPS/TLS)
• Row Level Security (RLS) policies on the database
• Automated content moderation (text and images)
• Optional Face ID / Touch ID to lock the app

5. Visibility and disappearance

Enola is built around the principle of ephemeral visibility:

• You are visible only while the app is open and active
• Your location disappears immediately when you close the app
• No background location tracking is performed
• Your location history is not kept

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and applicable laws, you have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification: correct your data through the app settings
• Deletion: delete your account and all of your data from the app settings. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
• Portability: request your data in a structured format
• Objection: object to the processing of your data

7. Data retention

• Active account: your data is kept while your account is active.
• Account deletion: all data is deleted immediately and permanently (profile, photos, messages, connections).
• Location: not kept — used in real time only.
• Voice recordings: deleted after AI processing.

8. Cookies and trackers

Enola app does not use cookies or advertising trackers. No third-party analytics tool is embedded in the app.

9. Minors

Enola is restricted to people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that a minor uses the App, their account will be immediately deleted.

10. Changes

We may update this privacy policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
